Pier Paolo Caruso.

• Pier Paolo has been a Business Partner of MUSE STRATEGY since the start up of the company (April 2022).
• For over 30 years, he has been carrying out his professional activity in the business, administrative, fiscal and corporate fields at Studio Caruso in Bologna (founded by Paolo Caruso in 1937).
• Pier Paolo was Director of Datalogic S.p.A. from 1993 to 2017; Group CFO from 1993 to 1995; from 2001 to 2003 delegate to the national and international taxation of the Group; from 2010 and until 2013 delegate to the taxation of some subsidiaries of the Datalogic Group (the company Datalogic S.p.A. has been listed on the stock exchange managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A. since 2021).
• Former member of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Saeco International Group S.p.A., Monrif S.p.A. and is currently Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Caleffi S.p.A. since 2017 and member of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Technogym S.p.A. since 2022 (both companies are listed on the stock exchange managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A.). 
• During his professional career, Pier Paolo was also a director of listed and  not listed commercial companies. He is currently an independent director of FERVI S.p.A. since 2018 (listed company on the stock exchange managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A.).
• Pier Paolo was also temporary CFO of the company LPM.GROUP S.p.A. (until 12/31/2022), of which he is now Senior Strategic Advisor.
• He is also auditor and member of the Supervisory Body of various listed and not listed companies.

Scientific activities

• He is a lecturer at various conferences on international taxation and the author of articles in specialized magazines on taxation.
• Pier Paolo is president of the Commission for the Study of Finance and Stock Markets as well as vice-president of the Commission for the Internationalization of Companies of the Bar of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Bologna.
• Furthermore, he has been president of the Commission for International Taxation of the Bar of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Bologna.
• He is currently a member of the Start-up Study Commission at the National Council of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts (CNDCEC).

• Pier Paolo is enrolled in the Bar of Tax Experts and Chartered Accountants in Bologna since 1989.
• Participation in n. 3 Masters in International Taxation organized by Euroconference (1999, 2000 and 2001).
• Achievement of the IPSOA Master of specialization in international tax law (2004 - 2005 edition).
• He attended several specialization trainings and courses concerning sustainability and management of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) risks.
