Gian Luca is the founder and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MUSE STRATEGY that started up its activities in April 2022.
Previously, he carried out his professional activity both at leading Italian tax & law firms and at international consulting and audit companies.
Gian Luca is specialized in international taxation matters, with specific skills in transfer pricing, value chain management & operational modeling.
His experience includes consulting to multinational groups in the field of value chain (re)structuring, design of transfer pricing policies to be implemented in intra-group relations, the revision of those in progress, the preparation of the TP documentation and the negotiation of advance pricing agreements (APA) with the Tax Administration.
With reference to the aforementioned topics and matters, he also give assistance in the context of tax controversy with the fiscal authorities, including the recourse to mutual agreement procedures (MAP).
Gian Luca has also acquired skills in the global expansion processes of companies that have developed and maintain activities on foreign markets (internationalization).
He also gives consulting on instruments and incentives for the enhancement of corporate intangibles (ref., R&D activities), as well as for the growth and development of new entrepreneurial initiatives (e.g., start-ups and innovative SMEs).
Over time, these skills have evolved and been enriched with new knowledge and experience in consultancy regarding risk management (operational and tax), analysis of corporate performance, corporate finance and topics relating to sustainability, including ESG reporting.
Scientific activities
He regularly gives speeches at conferences, master's degrees and seminars on transfer pricing, enterprise internationalization, permanent establishments, international tax law in general as well as on optimization of intangible assets. On the same subjects, he regularly contributes to scientific journals with articles and publications.
Gian Luca is a member of the Commission for the Internationalization of Enterprises at the Bar of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Bologna and of the International Taxation Commission of the Bar of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Milan, where he regularly participates in seminars and workshops also as panelist. He was also a member of the International Taxation Commission at Bar of Chartered Accountants in Bologna.
For several years, he has been the vice-chair of the Transfer Pricing Business Group of a top-10 international network of independent firms specialized in tax, advisory and audit, giving his active contribution to cross-border business development, training courses and seminars for affiliated firms and clients.
Education and training
Gian Luca graduated in Business Administration from the Università degli Studi of Modena and Reggio Emilia (2000).
He is chartered professional accountant, registered at the Italian Association of Certified Accountants of Milan and Statutory Auditor, since 2004.

Course on Transfer Pricing & Indirect Taxes at IBFD – Amsterdam (2013).
